On January 20th, a vintage British motorcycle, touted as the "Rolls-Royce of the motorcycle world," will be featured as a treasure on the variety show "Kaiun! Yuka Sugai" (TV Tokyo, Tuesdays 8:54 p.m.), hosted by entertainer Imada Koji, freelance announcer Fukuzawa Akira, and former Sakurazaka46 member Sugai Yuuka.
The treasure is a Vincent Black Shadow (1952). Vincent was a legendary British manufacturer that produced the world's fastest motorcycles from the 1930s to the 1950s, but their uncompromising commitment made them unprofitable and they ceased production in 1955. They were also known as the Rolls-Royce of the motorcycle world.
The Black Shadow is their flagship model. The car was in poor condition, so the client spent 4 million yen to rebuild it to like new. But what is its value? The appraisal results are shocking.
