On January 20th, Rina Matsuda Rina Matsuda , captain of the idol group Sakurazaka46, was interviewed in Tokyo following the release of her first photobook, "Matsuri no Jikan" (Gentosha), on the same day, and spoke about the reactions she has received from those around her.
A member of Sakurazaka46 happily said, "When the information came out that the book would be released, many members contacted us saying, 'This cut was really cute,' and our juniors also said, 'I like this.'"
She revealed an episode with fellow second-generation member Ozono Rei as a memorable event, saying, "She contacted me before I went to New Zealand (for filming), and when I returned home, she cried tears of joy, saying, 'Congratulations! I'm so happy that Matsu is releasing a photobook.'" Ozono, who has experience releasing photobooks, said she had previously told her, "I want to release a photobook too!" She smiled and said, "She remembered that, and I was so happy!"
He said he was looking forward to handing them over to Tsuchida Teruyuki, the MC of his own show "Soko Magattara, Sakurazaka?" (TV Tokyo), and Sawabe Yu of Haraichi, and expressed his anticipation, saying, "I can't wait to see how they react!"
She appears as a regular on the TBS morning information program "THE TIME," on Thursdays, and revealed, "Some of my co-stars and staff on "THE TIME," have reserved them, which made me very happy. I'm a little embarrassed, but I plan to give some to Eto (Ai) and Yasuzumi (Shinichiro) as well."
This work was shot in New Zealand, and features scenes of her playing with sheep and strolling around the city, creating an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel as if you are spending time with her there.
