"Weekly Brave Raideen Builder" (Hachette Collections Japan), a separate encyclopedia for assembling the Raideen from the popular robot anime "Brave Raideen" that aired from 1975 to 1976, will be launched on February 18th. It features a full-metal body measuring approximately 65cm in length, with lighting, dialogue, background music, movement, transformation, and other gimmicks. There will be a total of 110 issues, with the first issue costing 490 yen. Issues 2 and beyond will be 2,199 yen, and issues 30, 60, and 100 will be priced at 3,990 yen.
It can recreate poses from signature moves like God Gogan, God Block, God Boomerang, and God Breaker, and transforms into God Bird. The light and sound effects can be controlled with the Copelander No. 1 Blueger controller. A dedicated metal stand is also included.
The magazine will also feature interviews with staff members such as original author and screenwriter Suzuki Yoshitake, director Yoshiyuki Tomino who worked on the first half, character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, and industrial designer Murakami Katsuji.
