Singer Masahiko Kondo will appear on "Gobugobu" (MBS, Kansai local), which will be broadcast from 1:54 pm to 3:00 pm on December 13th. He will tour "Showa retro spots" in Osaka with MC Masatoshi Hamada of the comedy duo "Downtown."
To commemorate this year marking the 100th anniversary of the Showa era, comedian Hamada and idol star Matchi, who dominated television in the Showa era, will visit a candy wholesaler that has been in business for over 70 years, as well as a cabaret that opened in 1969 and was used as a filming location for this year's hit movie, "National Treasure."
They will compete in "Showa-era Embarrassing Punishment Games," "Super Ball Scooping," and "Showa-era Famous Song Intro Quiz," with the winner competing. At the end, the two will perform a passionate rendition of Kondo's classic "Gingira Gin ni Sarigenaku."
