The 31st episode of the NHK Asadora"Bakebake " (Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM and other times), starring Akari Takaishi as the heroine, was broadcast on November 10th. In the episode, viewers reacted to the behavior of Sannojo(Rihito Itagaki), who accepted money from Toki (Takaishi).
In episode 31, Toki becomes a maid for Heaven (Tommy Bastow). After being told by Nishikori (Ryo Yoshizawa) that "there's no turning back now," she receives one month's salary of 20 yen, but cannot tell her family, so she lies and says she's been hired at the Hanada Inn.
Meanwhile, Sannojo, who is looking for work, visits a store and makes an unreasonable request to be made president, only to be turned away. Toki ambushes Sannojo and hands him part of his pay. Sannojo pushes it back, saying, "Don't make fun of me," but Toki replies, "It's not my money!" and lies, saying that it was given to her by Sannojo's late father, Den (Shinichi Tsutsumi). She explains that when the Ushimizu family was homeless, they had been told to hand over the money, and says, "This is a thoughtful gesture from your uncle to your aunt. Please accept it."
Sannojo said, "In that case..." and took the money, to which Toki replied, "That's good... Use this money to rent a house and live off it."Sannojo asked, "Is that all?" and when Toki replied, "Yes...", he said, "Well then..." and left.
Various comments were made on social media in response to Sannojo's response, such as "He didn't even say 'thank you'", "Sannojo is so ignorant of the world that he must have naively believed Toki's 'act'...it's so sad", "He pocketed the money without showing it to his mother. I hope he doesn't fail when he tries to start a business (I have no faith in fallen samurai)", "Are you okay?
