The film has been a huge hit, attracting over 5.43 million viewers, and its momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
It was also announced that the fifth gift in the series for moviegoers will be an instant photo-style visual card depicting Denji and Reze standing with their arms around each other's shoulders at their high school entrance ceremony, which will be distributed from November 15th. In preparation for the support screenings that will be held from November 14th, an instructional video by Natsuki Hanae, who plays the shark demon Beam, has also been released.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action story that follows Denji, a boy possessed by a demon, as he works as a devil hunter. Part 1 was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from December 2018 to December 2020. Part 2 has been serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +" since July 2022. The "Reze" arc, which also appeared at the end of the TV anime series that aired from October to December 2022, tells the story of Reze and the main character, Denji, who became a hot topic.
