It has been announced that the popular game "NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE" (WSS playground), which was released in 2022 and has recorded a total of approximately 3 million downloads, will be adapted into a TV anime that will begin airing in April 2026. Prior to the TV anime broadcast, it will be screened in advance at Theater Shinjuku (Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo) and Theater Umeda (Kita-ku, Osaka). The anime will be produced by Yostar Pictures, the studio behind "Arknights" and "Blue Archive."
"NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE" is a multi-ending adventure game that follows the 30 days of a girl with a strong desire for approval as she strives to become the best streamer, and her supporter, "Pi." Released on Steam in January 2022, the game has recorded a total of approximately 3 million downloads. The game has gained popularity, with related songs being played over 400 million times.
The first key visual and first PV featuring the super cute angel (Cho Ten-chan) have been released.
