It has been revealed that the second season of the anime " Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!", a spin-off of the popular manga " Bungo Stray Dogs ," titled " Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! 2," will be produced. It was announced that the anime will be released in 2026. A teaser visual and a promotional video announcing the anime, featuring Nakajima Atsushi and Dazai Osamu exchanging the words "Woof! Two!", have also been released.
Kanai Neko, the manga artist for "Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!", commented, "Thank you for the second season of the anime! Congratulations! This is the biggest news of the year. The deep world of Bungo Stray Dogs fan myself, I am looking forward to the broadcast!"
Kafka Asagiri, the original author of "Bungo Stray Dogs," said, "After watching episode 7 of the first season of the anime, I was already saying, 'Oh no, it's already halfway through - I wonder if there will be a second season,' so I'm very happy to hear this news! Let's all drift together into this otherworldly, healing world."
Harukawa 35, the original character designer, commented, "The main story is always tough, so Woof! is a real blessing as he constantly comforts us. Let's watch the anime again to see their daily lives as they live in a kind world!"
"Bungo Stray Dogs" is a manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by 35 Harukawa, currently serialized in Young Ace (KADOKAWA). It depicts famous authors such as Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa using their supernatural powers to fight. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second from October to December 2016, the third from April to June 2019, the fourth from January to March 2023, and the fifth from July to September 2023.
