Shohei Osada and Shun Matsuo of the comedy duo "Chocolate Planet" attended a Halloween event for the film "Avatar: Fire and Ashes" (directed by James Cameron, released December 19th) held in Tokyo on October 30th. Nagata appeared at the event for the first time since suffering an avulsion fracture in the instep of his left foot during the filming of a special program scheduled to air at the end of the year, and performed his skit while sitting in a chair, delighting the audience.
The Chocolate Planet duo appeared wearing special makeup that perfectly recreated the Navi, who live on the mysterious planet Pandora, that appears in the film. Osada sat on a chair with Caster and was pushed onto the stage by his partner Shun Matsuo.
The audience erupted in applause when they performed a "TT Brothers" skit, "The T stands for Trick or Treat!". They also performed a special skit by the "AA Brothers," which is an acronym for "Avatar," and the audience erupted in laughter.
After finishing his skit, the MC asked Nagata if he was okay, to which he replied, "Right now, I really want my own avatar. I can really understand how Jake felt when he landed on Pandora."
Shibuya Nagisa also attended the event.
The film is the third in the series, following "Avatar" (2009) and "Avatar: Way of Water" (2022). The series is set in the year 2154, when Earth is on the brink of destruction. Humanity's last hope for survival lies on the mysterious planet Pandora. In order to mine valuable mineral resources, humanity develops "avatars," bodies that combine the DNA of the indigenous Na'vi and humans. Jake (Sam Worthington), a former Marine who lost hope in life after injuring both legs in battle, becomes an avatar and comes into contact with the Na'vi.
