The television anime " The Quintessential Quintuplets ," based on the popular romantic comedy manga by Negi Haruba , celebrated " The Quintessential Quintuplets Anniversary" on October 20th, and a new photo of the voice actors who play the Nakano quintuplets, Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Miku Ito, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase, was released. The series has designated the milestone days when the 365 days of the year are divided into five equal parts as "The Quintessential Quintuplets Anniversary," with October 20th being the last anniversary of the year.

The Quintessential Quintuplets is a story about a high school student, Uesugi Futaro, who lives in poverty and becomes a tutor to five unique quintuplets who are on the verge of failing their classes. He struggles to guide them to graduation. The series was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) from August 2017 to February 2020.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2019, and the second season, "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫," aired from January to March 2021. The animated film "The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie" was released in May 2022 and was a hit, grossing approximately 2.24 billion yen and attracting approximately 1.7 million viewers.
