It has been announced that "The Monster Tamer's Daughter," a popular light novel by Tento Dam that won the Grand Prize at the 2nd Drecom Media Awards, will be adapted into a TV anime. Following the release of the original PV, it was also announced that Manaka Iwami will voice the protagonist, Leen, a girl who is a descendant of the primordial witch Lingreen, Chiaki Kobayashi will voice the adventurer Hakura, and Akio Otsuka will voice the monster Ao. The anime will be directed by Chihiro Kumano, with series composition by Satoru Sugisawa and character design by Akane Kasasagi. It will be produced by project No.9.
"The Monster Tamer's Daughter" tells the story of Leen, a girl who is a descendant of the primordial witch Lingreen, who is said to have once saved the world, and who possesses the ability to control all kinds of monsters. She meets the adventurer Hakura and they begin a journey together. The light novel is published by DRE Novels (Drecom), and a manga adaptation will be serialized on the manga website "Dorikomi+" starting in September.
