On October Getsuku , Koji Mukai of the popular group "Snow Man" attended the "Premiere Preview & Production Press Conference" for the drama series "Fake Mummy" (TBS, Friday 10pm, starting on the 10th), which stars Haru and Rina Kawaei. He spoke about his close friend Tsuda Atsuhiro of the comedy duo "Diane" as a father.
This drama series is based on the winning work by Sonomura Hikaru, winner of the first TBS NEXT WRITERS CHALLENGE screenplay competition. After suddenly quitting her job and struggling to find a new one, Hanamura Kaoru (Haru) interviews for a venture company called RAINBOWLAB, where she meets the company president and single mother, Hidaka Mamie (Rina Kawaei). She is asked to act as a substitute for her daughter as she takes the exam for a prestigious private elementary school.
Kawaei and Nakamura Aoi, who are both raising children, spoke about their own experiences, and when the host, Yamamoto Erika, an announcer from the same station, asked Tsuda, "You're a father too, aren't you?" Tsuda joked, "I'm on a solo business trip, so I leave everything to my wife, but I do come home every once in a while and take care of things...just kidding!"
Upon hearing this, Mukai said, "I've been to my parents' house, and when I come back and see the kids coming to them, I feel like they really love me. I think their mother usually does that, but since they're away, I feel like they play with them when they get home. He has a lot of love," giving his stamp of approval to Tsuda's role as a father, to which Tsuda replied, "Thank you."
Haru, Noro Kayo, Ikemura Aoi, and Tanaka Minami also attended the press conference.
