Reina Yamazaki: Appearance in new commercial for taxi app "S.RIDE"

A new commercial for the taxi app "S.RIDE" starring talent and radio personality Rena Yamazaki has been released. In three parts, "Ride Experience Edition," "Points Edition," and "S.RIDE Biz Edition," Yamazaki, who serves as the app's official ambassador, is shown smartly resolving the confusion and stress that often comes with hailing a taxi.

In the "Ride Experience" episode, a boss passionately argues in a conference room that "Speed is the most important thing when calling a taxi!", while another boss counters with "Comfort is more important than speed!", and as the argument escalates, Yamazaki slams his foot on the table and suggests, "In that case, S.RIDE!" He goes on to explain, "One in three taxis in Tokyo is an S.RIDE, so you can get a speedy taxi! You can even call a luxury minivan, and it's relaxing and comfortable!"

Yamazaki commented, "I am truly honored to be able to appear in the commercial again as the official S.RIDE ambassador. Based on the new catchphrase 'For reliability, choose S.RIDE,' the story is about how S.RIDE solves problems in the business world. Previous commercials have highlighted the speed and comfort of being able to pick you up immediately in an emergency, but this time we are also focusing on exciting features such as the points program. I hope that more people than ever before will use S.RIDE and enjoy a comfortable journey!"

The new commercial has been airing since September 24th on "GROWTH," a signage media installed in one in three taxis running in Tokyo. It will also be distributed through various online advertisements.
