The dance and vocal group "BE:FIRST" has been appointed as the ambassador for this year's Christmas campaign of the convenience store chain "FamilyMart." Reservations for the collaborative Christmas cake, "BE:FIRST BEST Chocolate Cake," will begin at 10:01 a.m. on September 12th at approximately 16,000 FamilyMart stores nationwide (Okinawa Prefecture will start accepting reservations from October 1st).
BE:FIRST debuted in 2021 and has been performing at the NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen for three consecutive years since 2022. Since the latter half of last year, they have successfully completed a solo tour of the four major domes across Japan, with a total of nine performances, and from April to July this year they held their first world tour, visiting the United States, Europe, and Asia.
The collaboration cake, created under the supervision of the members, is a five-layer cake made with two types of chocolate mousse (bitter and milk) and caramel sauce. The cake is made with a cocoa sponge base, and is layered with milk chocolate mousse, candied almonds, caramel sauce, and bitter chocolate mousse, allowing you to enjoy a variety of flavors along with the beautiful cross-section.
The top of the cake was topped with gold powder, candied almonds, and chocolate chips, an idea from member MANATO. The cake was carefully crafted to look and feel great. It is about 12cm in diameter and is perfect for two or three people, and costs 4,980 yen.
Pre-orders will come with a pick featuring BE:FIRST's past album jacket photos and a BE:FIRST design box. Pre-orders at FamilyMart Online will also include the chance to watch an exclusive video of the band enjoying Christmas together.

-Which member has a special attachment to FamilyMart?
LEO: There was a Family Mart near the studio where we rehearsed before our debut, and before every rehearsal or during a break, we would all say, "Let's go to Family Mart!" and go there almost every day.
--Who would you like to eat the collaborative Christmas cake? How did you supervise it?
SHUNTO: I'd like BESTY (fan name) to try it too, it's really delicious, so I'd be happy if she could share how delicious it is.
RYUHEI: (Known as the member with the biggest sweet tooth. Regarding the supervision of the cake) I incorporated the chicness of the BE:FIRST logo into the chocolate color.
MANATO: I came up with the idea for the gold powder because I wanted to do it myself, but I never thought it would be approved, so it was an incredibly good experience.
--How would you describe taste with your body?
LEO: Mmm, delicious!! (He poses with his arms wide open, but) No, I'd like a cut, please.
