Miyata Toshiya of the popular group Kis-My-Ft2 made a guest appearance as a voice actor in the second season of the TV anime Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun 2, based on the manga by Aida Iro currently serialized in Monthly G Fantasy (Square Enix). Miyata appeared as Katakuri in episode 21, "Curse," which aired on August 31st. A behind-the-scenes video of Miyata and Akari Akari Kito, dubbing the character, was released on YouTube. Miyata and Kitou talk about their impressions of the dubbing.
"Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun" depicts the daily struggles of Yashiro Nene, a girl who forms a bond with Hanako-kun, also known as "Hanako-san of the Toilet," the seventh of Kamome Academy's Seven Wonders, and Genkou, a boy who works as an exorcist, as they work to restore the rumors of the altered Seven Wonders and strange phenomena to their original state.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2020. The first half of the second season aired from January to March, and the second half has been airing on TBS every Sunday at 4:30 pm since July.
