It has been announced that the film version of the TV anime "SPY×FAMILY," based on the manga by Tatsuya Endo, currently serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," titled "Spy × Family Code: White," will air on TV Tokyo at 8:50 PM on October 5th. The film is an all-new story supervised and character designed by Endo, the original author. It was released in 383 theaters nationwide on December 22nd, 2023, and was a huge hit, grossing over 6.32 billion yen. This will be the first time it will be broadcast on terrestrial television.
"SPY×FAMILY" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in March 2019. The story follows a skilled spy who creates a temporary family for his mission and starts a new life. The father is a spy, the daughter has psychic powers, and the mother is an assassin, all of whom must live together while hiding their true identities. The comic series has sold over 38 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022, the second season from October to December 2022, and season 2 from October to December 2023. Season 3 will begin airing on TV Tokyo from 11:00 PM on October 4th.
