Singer May'n appeared on August 29th, the first day of "Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 'ThanXX!'," a large-scale anime song live event currently being held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City). She passionately sang "Northern Cross," the ending theme of the TV anime "Macross Frontier" This was May'n's 10th appearance at Anisama, and her first in 8 years.
May'n then performed "Belief," the opening theme to the TV anime "Taboo Tattoo." Calling out, "I'm back at Anisama!", she shared her thoughts, saying, "Anisama taught me something. It's not about singing coolly or singing well, it's about enjoying this occasion and singing for you!" As if to embody those words, she performed with a ferocious expression at times. Finally, she sang "Chase the world," the opening theme to the TV anime "Accel World."
Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year's event is scheduled to be held from August 29th to 31st, and will feature a total of 50 artists.
