There is an outdoor public swimming pool in Ehime that is nicknamed the "10 Yen Pool." For a small admission fee of 10 yen for children and 60 yen for adults, you can enjoy everything from a competitive swimming pool to a lazy river and water slides to your heart's content.

Since opening in 1972, it has been a beloved summer tradition in the area for half a century. What memories have people of all ages and genders made at the pool? We looked at it over three midsummer days.
