It has been announced that a theatrical anime film, "Solo Leveling(OreRebe)," which has gained popularity worldwide, including surpassing 1.22 billion cumulative page views in Japan on the electronic manga and novel service "Piccoma," will be produced. The film will be a sequel to the TV anime. A special trailer consisting of completely Solo Leveling footage that makes it seem as if Shun Mizushino and the Shadow Soldiers have actually descended into the real world, and a teaser visual depicting Shun Mizushino with a defiant expression have been released.
"Ore Rebe" is set in a world where gates connect different dimensions to the real world, and where humans with special abilities called Hunters exist. The story follows Sung Jin-Woo, the lowest-ranked E-rank Hunter and known as "humanity's weakest weapon," who suddenly gains the power to level up while no one else does, and rises from the weakest to the strongest.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2024, and the second season aired from January to March 2025.
