It has been announced that Shuzo Oshimi, the manga artist known for works such as "The Flowers of Evil" and "Inside Mari," will be creating a manga adaptation of the horror novel "A Questionnaire on the Mouth" by Seisuji (published by Poplar Publishing). The series will be a short, intensive weekly serialization and began on July 4th on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+." This is Oshimi's first foray into occult horror, and it will be depicted from a different perspective than both the novel and the live-action film.
"The Questionnaire About Mouths" tells the story of a group of college students who go on a test of courage to a cemetery known as a haunted spot. One of them commits suicide a month later, and as each participant recounts what happened on the night of the test of courage, what they saw and what they are hiding is revealed...
The movie was released on July 3rd.
