"Doraemon" Tentomushi Comics 50th Anniversary Special Edition Final Volume 6 Released

The sixth and final volume of the special edition series, released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the publication of the first volume of Fujiko F. Fujio's popular manga "Doraemon" (Shogakukan) in the Tentomushi Comics (TenComi) magazine, was released on June 25th. As a purchase bonus, a special silver-colored box that can hold volumes 1 to 6 of the special edition will be included.

To commemorate the release of the special edition volumes 1 to 6, Shogakukan Doraemon Room Official X (@100nen_doraemon) will be holding a giveaway campaign for "Mini Clear Files that Look Just Like the Tentomushi Comics" (45 types in total). The clear files are based on the covers of the Tenkomi "Doraemon" comics, and 50 people who follow Official X and repost a campaign-eligible post during the campaign period will be drawn at random to win a set of all 45 types.

The special edition has a double cover, and when you remove the glossy cover, you'll find a cover that reproduces the design of the first edition as closely as possible. It uses higher quality paper than regular TenComi, and the episodes that were originally drawn in color will be included in color. The first edition is reproduced down to the smallest details, including the cover, front page, and the scale (font size) of the manga's dialogue.

In addition to Tencomi, there are various other series of "Doraemon" comics, including paperback versions, but the Tencomi "Doraemon" features episodes selected by Fujiko from those published in various magazines such as "Good Child," "Youchien," and "Shogaku Ichinensei."
