"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho from Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of the sales floor. The number one album at the store from April 6th to 13th was "MOMENTUM," a mini-album by ROF-MAO, a four-member unit from the VTuber project Nijisanji. The album also topped the rankings from March 23rd to 30th, making it a comeback.

ROF-MAO is a male VTuber unit consisting of Nijisanji members Hayato Kagami, Touya Kenmochi, Minato Fuwa, and Haru Kaida. The album includes the October ending theme song for TV Tokyo's morning children's variety show "Oha Star," which was provided by NAOTO of the band "ORANGE RANGE," and "Jounetsuteki Boy," the theme song for the unit's streaming program "Thursday 10! Rofmao Juku Season 7." In addition, the album contains a total of seven songs by a luxurious group of creators.
Coming in at No. 2 is the sixth single "Always, Forever" by Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club, a school idol group that appears in the smartphone app "Link! Like! Love Live! ", part of the popular "Love Love Live! !" series, which is based on anime and other media. Also making its debut in No. 3 is "Mellow x Mellow," the first release in about seven years by KAmiYU, a unit consisting of voice actors Hiroshi Kamiya and Miyu Irino. This is their third single, and features the new song "Mellow x Mellow," which debuted at the event "Kiramune Music Festival 2024," as the title track, as well as three other new songs.
In fifth place is "Super Mario RPG ORIGINAL SOUND BOX," the original soundtrack for the game "Super Mario RPG," in sixth place is "Uma Musume Pretty Derby WINNING LIVE 26," which contains music from the game "Uma Musume Pretty Derby," and in tenth place is "Season Solo Collection Vol.7 "Sakura Photograph," the album for "Gakuen Idolmaster (Gakumasu)," a completely new smartphone app from the popular "Idolmaster (Idolmaster)" series, which includes games and more.

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku store, 7th floor (Japanese music/sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He got into anime because of 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "BLUE SEED", and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame", and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!". His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm", "The Idolmaster", "Photo Kano", and "Sakura Wars".
