Gunpla models from the theatrical anime film "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Shuko Murase), part of the popular "Gundam" anime series, are on display at the Bandai Spirits booth at the "64th Shizuoka Hobby Show" (organized by the Shizuoka Model and Educational Materials Cooperative Association), a model exhibition currently being held at Twin Messe Shizuoka (Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City).
While no new products were announced, the event showcased existing Gunpla models, including the "HG 1/144 Aryuzeus," a Gunpla model of Aryuzeus that gained attention for its appearance in Chapter 2, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: The Witch of Circe." This Gunpla model stands approximately 25 centimeters tall and features a gimmick that allows it to transform into flight form. By separating the external armor, it can also transform into the mass-produced ν Gundam.
The "HG 1/144 Ξ Gundam (Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: Circe's Witch)" is a Gunpla model of the Ξ Gundam from "Circe's Witch," and it allows you to recreate the "unmasked" Gundam face that appears at the end of the film. It also features a gimmick that allows it to transform into flight form.
The "HG 1/144 Messer M01 (Gauman's Unit)" is a newly sculpted model that recreates the Messer M01 (Gauman's Unit). It comes with a left shoulder part to recreate Gauman's machine. Also on display is the "HG 1/144 Gustav Karl 00 Type," a three-dimensional model of the Earth Federation Forces' mass-produced mobile suit, the Gustav Karl 00, in the "HG" series.
The Shizuoka Hobby Show is an exhibition held in Shizuoka City, where many model manufacturers have factories, and has been held since 1959. This year, it will be held from May 13th to 17th, with the 16th and 17th being open to the public. Pre-registration is required for admission.
