Actress Haruka Ayase and Daigo of the comedy duo "Chidori" attended the official screening of their film "Sheep in a Box," which is being screened in the competition section of the Cannes International Film Festival currently being held in France, on May 16th local time. They walked the red carpet with director Hirokazu Kore-eda and child actress Rimu Kuwaki as they entered the venue.
Under a bright blue sky, Daigo appeared in a Gucci tuxedo, his chest adorned with an expensive Chaumet brooch. Haruka Ayase followed him into the venue, wearing a black Balenciaga dress and shoes, and Cartier jewelry, and they began walking down the red carpet.
The four lined up in a row, with Ayase, Daigo, and Kuwanagi holding hands like a family in the film, and posing for photos in a friendly and harmonious manner. Daigo, in particular, maintained a playful, beaming smile throughout, fully responding to the photographer's requests and captivating the media gathered from around the world.
As they climbed the stairs to the theater, Daigo extended his hand and escorted Ayase. At the premiere screening held in Tokyo on May 11th, Daigo had expressed his anxiety about "whether I would be able to make a move on her at that time," but he managed to escort her smoothly.
"The Sheep in the Box" will be released on May 29th.
