The drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~ " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm) starring actress Mikako Tabe . The synopsis and stills from the 4th episode, which will air on April 22nd, have been released.
When Ichigo (Nagai Kana-chan) falls ill, Murakami Shiho (Tabe-san) visits her doctor, Tsutamura Clinic. Dr. Waka (Asai Daichi-san), who greets her at the reception desk, is married to his wife, Akiko ( Momoko Tanabe), a former nursery school teacher who quit her job when she got married. She is always smiling and attentive, and is loved by many patients.
At Tsutamura Clinic, where Dr. O is hospitalized and Dr. Waka runs the pediatrics and internal medicine departments, the regular patients are interested in who will take over the clinic. On this day, Akiko is also bothered by the well-meaning pressure from her patients to have children, who say, "If we have a grandchild, Dr. O will be better." Shiho bumps into Akiko at a nearby women's clinic and decides to listen to her painful thoughts.
At the Murakami household, Shiho and her husband, Tora (Wataru Ichinose), get into a fight while talking about their parents. Shiho thinks back to her late mother.
Based on the novel "Taigan no Kaji" (Kodansha Bunko) by Kiko Akano, the story depicts the "endless work" of housework through the protagonist's interactions with "people on the other side of the river" who have different positions and ways of thinking than her.
