The final episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on Getsuku. The unexpected ending for Minato Machiyama (Nagasaku) and Kaimiya Oedo (Kenichi Matsuyama) became a hot topic.

Having graduated from the Sushi Academy, Minato contacts Oedo to give him a souvenir from his solo trip. Oedo then suggests they go to a stylish place near the sea.
On that day, Oedo began by saying to Minato, "I have something I'd like to talk to you about in a different setting than before, with a fresh perspective." With a nervous expression, she "confessed," "My shop is scheduled to open next spring, if all goes well. If it's alright with you, Machiyama-san, would you come to my new shop?" When Minato readily agreed, Oedo couldn't hide her joy, saying, "I'm overwhelmed with gratitude."
Then came the opening day. Minato emerged from the entrance of the shop, dressed in a white chef's uniform and apron. She then yelled to the sky, "What is this?!" Oedo, looking puzzled, asked, "What do you mean?" Minato confessed, "I didn't think this is what they meant by wanting me to come to the shop... I thought they meant they wanted me to come and eat as a regular customer or something like that."
However, Ōedo ignored Minato's bewilderment and continued speaking unilaterally, "Machiyama-san, first you'll be in charge of preparation at this restaurant, then move on to individual dishes, and eventually I'd like you to work with me as a chef. And also help out with the classes..." Overwhelmed, Minato, as if making up her mind, said, "I'll do my best. I'm actually more excited than anything else," and then asked Ōedo, "Is that because I'll be working with you, Sensei?"
