It was also announced that advance movie tickets will be sold for one day only on July 7th at Animate Ikebukuro Main Store (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) and other locations. The anime will be produced by ufotable, known for works such as "Fate/stay night [Heaven's Feel]" and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba." "Mahoutsukai no Yoru" (Witch on the Holy Night) is a game released on April 12, 2012. The scenario was written by Kinoko Nasu, known for works such as "Kara no Kyoukai" (The Garden of Sinners) and the "Fate" series, and the graphics were handled by Hirokazu Koyama. The game originates from an unpublished novel that Nasu wrote before the release of "Tsukihime," and is set in the late 1980s. Shizuki Soujurou, a high school student who has come to the city from the countryside, meets Aozaki Aoko, an apprentice witch, and Kuonji Arisu, a witch from England, and the three end up living together in an old Western-style mansion.
