The 10th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on April 11th. In this episode, the baton was passed from Nagase Yuzuna, who played the childhood of the main character Nobu, and Kimura Yuuki, who played the childhood of Takashi, to Imada and Takumi Kitamura, and many viewers expressed their sadness at the farewell.
In the 10th episode, Takashi goes to see Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima) in Kochi using the address on the postcard. Takashi is overjoyed to be reunited with his mother after a long time, but Tomiko looks confused.
Nobu is restless and worried about Takashi who has disappeared. Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) takes Nobu outside to sell the remaining Anpan. There, she sees Takashi collapsed on the road. As Hatako and Nobu look on, Takashi devours the bean- Anpan bun with fervor. With strength welling up from the bottom of his stomach, Takashi starts to walk powerfully.
Towards the end of the film, Nobu leaves the house saying, "I'm off!" and calls out to Taka, who is running ahead of her, "Let's race to school! Ready, set, go!" and runs off at full speed. Taka chases after Nobu, calling out, "Nobu-chan, wait up!" The scene shifts from the backs of the two running, and time passes, to the year 1934 (Showa 9). Nobu (Imada), Taka (Kitamura), and Taka's younger brother Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa) appear, now in their fourth year at a girls' high school.
Comments on social media included, "I'll be sad for a while," "I wish I could have seen more," "It was the first time I've ever wanted to watch a child actor part for so long," "I guess I'll never see Chibi Nobu-chan and Chibi Takashi again...I'm so sad," and "Thank you for your wonderful acting."
