TV Asahi's annual large-scale summer event, "TV Asahi Roppongi Hills SUMMER FES," will be held again this year from July 18th to August 23rd. In addition to the traditional Roppongi area, including TV Asahi's headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo), Roppongi Hills (same location), and EX THEATER ROPPONGI (same location), the event will be expanded to two locations for the first time, adding Tokyo Dream Park, a multi-purpose entertainment complex that opened this spring in Ariake, Tokyo. The events at each venue are also expected to be even more spectacular.
The "Roppongi Hills Arena Special Stage," where live performances have been held every year, will host "SUMMER FES Music LIVE" from July 18th to August 16th, featuring different artists performing each day. The first wave of performing artists announced includes Monaki, HKT48, SUPER★DRAGON, BUDDiiS, WATWING, BALLISTIK BOYZ, Kyururintte Shitemite, Shiritsu Ebisu Chugaku, and Juice=Juice.
In addition, a special stage event, "Dream Entertainment Summer Special: Frontal Breakthrough! Moasta's Midsummer 5-Day Challenge," will be held from July 20th to 23rd and on the 28th. Public recordings of the program and a hero show are also planned.
EX Theater Roppongi will host the "Nika Game" program event again this year from August 7th to 9th. Doraemon will once again appear in the Roppongi area, and a "water play area" will be set up in collaboration with the movie "Crayon Shin-chan -chan: Mysterious Monster Vacation."
Meanwhile, Tokyo Dream Park is also planning a special stage. In collaboration with the "Roppongi Idol Festival," which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the festival will hold a "pre-festival" from July 18th to 24th and a "post-festival" from July 27th to 29th, with one idol group from the festival performing each day holding a solo live show.
