Former TV Tokyo announcer and talent Kasumi Mori will appear on the popular segment "Gourmet Chicken Race Gochi ni Narimasu! (Gochi Battle)" of the variety show "Guruguru Ninety-Nine (Gurunai)" (Nippon Television Network), which airs from 7 p.m. on July 2nd.
This time, the show is titled "Gochi in Rome, Italy! 3-Hour Special," and will feature the gourmet food of Rome for the first time in 27 years. In addition to Ninety-Nine, Riisa Naka, Ryo Ryusei, Gekidan Hitori, Shintaro Morimoto and Mori from SixTONES will participate, making a total of seven people.
During the Gochi Battle, everyone is asked to share their favorite overseas trips, accompanied by photos. Mori shows a photo of Venice from her graduation trip in college, to which Hitori points out, "Was this before you became so cutesy?"
During the results announcement, Morimoto, who had initially boasted that he would "get it right," gradually became dejected, saying, "It's hopeless." Naka and Hitori also panicked, saying, "This is bad," and Ryusei was shaken by the members' comments, saying, "You're right."
The setting for "Gochi Battle" is La Terrazza, a restaurant located on the top floor of the five-star Hotel Eden, a hotel beloved by VIPs such as Audrey Hepburn, and which has received one Michelin star for eight consecutive years. The set price is 40,000 yen, making it a high-stakes competition where participants will have to pay approximately 280,000 yen out of pocket for seven servings.
