Masato said that Aiko had asked him to move to Itoshima with her, but he cut the talk off, saying, "Can you decide the rest of your life based on what you like and dislike? This deal is over." When his family and Misae heard the story, they were disillusioned with Masato's response. Masato could not understand the wrongness of his own behavior and was confused, asking, "Why?"
Meanwhile, Aiko, who arrived in Itoshima, finds Kayo working in the fields and runs up to her with a smile, calling out, "Kayo-san!" Kayo is surprised but happy, and the 118th episode ends with the two of them facing each other.
