Former TV Tokyo announcer Kasumi Mori will appear on NHK's program "Anthropomorphic Drama Defendant Panda" (General) which will be broadcast from 12:10am on March 22nd. The program is a drama x information variety show in which anthropomorphized animals play out fictional courtroom dramas. It will be broadcast in the "Road to Regular Programs" time slot. This will be Mori's first time appearing on a program on the same station.
Mori plays the lead role in the drama, a panda, who is sued by a group of animal plaintiffs, including lions and elephants, who are jealous of the panda's cuteness, for "receiving excessive love."
Mori said, "This was my first time appearing on NHK and also my first time being inside NHK, so everything was new to me and I was a little nervous. What's more, I was playing the role of a panda, so I started reading the book wondering what that meant."
She also revealed, "The filming went smoothly, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the final product will turn out," and appealed, "The content will make you think about the relationship between humans and pandas, and the treatment of pandas and other animals. Be sure to check it out!"
