A new original TV anime, "SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes," with the theme of "MUSIC×HERO," has been produced by Aniplex and Sony Music, and it has been revealed that it will be broadcast on Fuji TV and other stations from October. The story will feature a mixed-gender unit called "SI-VIS," and will be about artist heroes who save the world with music. The mysterious special countdown site for the work opened on July 24th, which has been a hot topic, and details have now been announced.
Fumiaki Maruto, who has worked on Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend and White Album 2, will be in charge of the series composition and script, while Hidari, a popular illustrator who has worked on Kotobuki Squadron in the Wilderness and Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, will be in charge of character design. The main characters will be played by a cast of voice actors including Daisuke Namikawa, Ayane Sakura, Akari Kito, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Soma Saito. The in-game unit SI-VIS will be sung by a vocal line-up selected by Sony Music.
"SI-VIS" is a mixed-gender artist unit formed around leader YOSUKE. They have taken the music scene in Japan and overseas by storm with their overwhelming singing and performance abilities, but their true identities are heroes who fight against a mysterious disaster that threatens to destroy the world. They enthuse people with their live performances and gather that power to fight. Because it looks like a live performance on the surface, no one knows that they are heroes... That's the setting.
