Actor Kazuya Kamenashi appeared at the Japan premiere of the TV drama "Kitakata Kenzo Suikoden" held in Tokyo on February 9th.
Kamenashi, who played Lin Chong, the unrivaled spearman in the film, recalled, "The snowy mountain scene was tough." He revealed, "It was a long take of seven or eight minutes, and I was told to 'walk to that area,' but I walked forever until they called cut. They pushed me to the limit without cutting."
Although it was a tough scene, he expressed his gratitude, saying, "It was more realistic than acting, and I think I was able to use my body movements and facial expressions to the fullest as Lin Chong."
Also appearing at the Japan premiere were Yuji Oda, Takashi Sorimachi, Shinnosuke Mitsushima, Haru, Yasuko Matsuyuki, Tetsuji Tamayama, Koichi Sato, director Setsuro Wakamatsu, and Kenzo Kitakata.
