The 30th anniversary video "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Wing -Operation 30th-" of the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, " which began airing on April 7, 1995, was released on July 25th, and has become a hot topic. "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing" was broadcast from 1995 to 1996 as the second installment of the "Alternative Series." It was also the first Gundam work to be broadcast in the United States. The video was directed by Toru Iwasawa, who has worked on "Black Clover" and "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End". There are many mysteries surrounding it, and every time you watch it, you will discover something new.
A new key visual based on the eye-catcher from when the anime was broadcast was also released, and it was also announced that the movie version of "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz", "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition", will be screened in Dolby Cinema for two weeks only from September 5th to 18th. ◇A special edition of "Uruzu Hunt" will be screened in theaters
At the event, it was also announced that as part of the 10th anniversary project for the anime Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, a special edited version of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt, entitled Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans: Urdr-Hunt - The Trail of the Little Challenger -, will be produced and released in theaters from October 31st. All 12 episodes have been re-edited and new scenes have been added. The main staff of Urdr-Hunt, including Director Tatsuyuki Nagai, and the main cast including Rina Ikoma will be reuniting.
"Urudr Hunt" is an anime distributed on the "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans G" smartphone app for "Iron-Blooded Orphans". Following the end of the service for the app in January 2024, the series came to an end with the second part of episode 12, "Shiden no Sora", but it was announced that it would be developed as an "animated video work". "Urudr Hunt" also announced new Gunpla products such as Gundam Zagun, so we can look forward to future developments.
