Mio Imada stars in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others). The character relationship chart for the 18th week "We Walk Together Now, Happy," which begins on July 28, has been released on the drama's official website and elsewhere, and the name of "Oshin-chan," aka Shin Uto(Himari Hitomi), has disappeared.
Oshin-chan is a maid who is loved by the Yanai family and has appeared in the drama since the first week. The preview for the 18th week includes a scene where the Yanai and Asada families gather together, but Oshin-chan is nowhere to be seen.
Viewers have been commenting with comments such as, "Now that I think of it, what happened to Oshin-chan, the maid in the Yanai family? Did she quit and get married?", "Shin-chan doesn't seem to be there in the scene in the preview where both families are gathered together. I guess she's probably married now", "Please bring Oshin-chan out too!" and "Please call Oshin-chan in too."
Also, Hitomi, who plays Oshin-chan, is appearing in the drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (Saturday 9pm) currently airing on the Nippon Television Network, which resulted in some reactions such as "Oshin-chan has Broadcasting Station Occupy... but that's a different show" and "Oshin-chan isn't here! Is she busy Broadcasting Station Occupy?" Will she just fade out like this?
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
