A Gunpla (plastic model) of the Zaku Desert Type Pink Panther Corps machine that appears in the anime "Gundam" series project "Mobile Suit Gundam Mobile Suit Discovery (MSD)" will be released as "HG 1/144 Zaku Desert Type Pink Panther Corps Machine" from Bandai Spirits' "HG" series. The price is 2,640 yen.
The Pink Panther Corps Zaku Desert Type, a mobile suit for tropical and desert warfare, has been made into a three-dimensional figure. It reproduces the exterior, which has been significantly changed from the Zaku II, and comes with a wide range of weapons. The color pattern of the Pink Panther Corps specification is reproduced in molding color with new parts.
It is equipped with a tropical/desert warfare backpack with a distinctive cooling radiator unit. It has a different shape of shield from the normal Zaku II, and the left shoulder armor. The head is equipped with a single type antenna. The joint parts have slits for exhausting heat and are sealed against sand and dust.
In addition to special equipment such as the M-120AS Zaku machine gun, SA-712 cracker pod, Rats River P-3 twin missile pod, and Rats River triple missile pod, it comes with the Zaku common armament heat hawk and hand parts compatible with various grips.
Pre-orders will be accepted from noon on February 4th on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, Premium Bandai. Shipment is scheduled for April.
