Model and TV personality Tsubasa Masuwaka appeared as a guest on the talk variety show "Downtown DX" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays at 10pm) on January 9th. She talked about how her son became a high school student last year, and surprised her co-stars by revealing that she sometimes gives advice on her son's friends' love lives, hair removal, and skin care.
What surprised viewers was her appearance. On social media, comments such as "Her atmosphere has changed so much from her old image that I was surprised I didn't recognise her at first", "Her makeup is completely different and her atmosphere has changed but she's super cute", "I really like Tsubasa Masuwaka's current atmosphere", "I think she's super cute", "Tsubasa Masuwaka is 39 years old and it's amazing. If she stood next to her son he'd look like his classmate (lol)", and "She doesn't look like a 39-year-old mother with a high school-aged son" were posted one after another, causing a stir.
Last December, Masuwaka attracted attention when she posted on social media, "Masuwaka has undergone the biggest makeover of her life!!"
