It has been announced that voice actress Satoshi Sakurai, known for her role as Mylene Jenius in the anime "Macross 7," passed away on August 13th.
Sakurai's official account (@TOMO_SAKURAI_) announced, "Sakurai Tomo was urgently hospitalized on August 4th due to a worsening of the symptoms of the multiple organ cancer for which he had been undergoing treatment, but unfortunately his condition did not improve and he passed away on August 13th."
Sakurai is also known for her roles as Megumi Hagaka/Phantom Thief Saint Tail in "Kaitou Saint Tail" and Makimachi Misao : Meiji Swordsman Romantic Story ."
