The 8th episode of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays 9pm) will be broadcast on December 18th. Maria Mori and Raini will be guest starring.
While running, Kaoru (Terawaki Yasufumi), a running companion for a visually impaired woman, Airi (Mori), is stabbed. It is believed to have been the work of someone with a grudge against Kaoru, but there are no clues. A man named Nose (Reini), who works at the same flower shop as Airi, rushes to the scene. Nose often serves as Airi's running companion, and seems to be closer to her than a colleague.
Ukyo (Yutaka Mizutani), who has begun his investigation, learns the circumstances of Airi's blindness. Two years ago, Airi was present at the scene of a robbery and murder, and fell down the stairs in a scuffle with the culprit.
The case remains unsolved. Ukyo suspects that it may be connected to the incident where Kaoru was stabbed. He also supports his theory by knowing that Airi will likely regain her sight soon after undergoing surgery. As the investigation progresses, it turns out that the robbery and murder are connected to a massive embezzlement case at the ward office...
