"The 19th medical record": Jun Matsumoto's message to Fuka Koshiba as "Takino" is a hot topic

The sixth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " The 19th medical record " (Sundays at 9pm), starring Jun Matsumoto , aired on August 24th. The words that Tokushige (Matsumoto) said to Takino ( Fuka Koshiba), who was providing terminal care (end-of-life care) for the first time, became a hot topic.

Takino was struggling with immense pressure while worrying about Handa Tatsu (Ishibashi Renji), a patient he was in charge of who had stage IV lung cancer.

Knowing what was on Takino's mind, Tokushige gave him some advice: "We are all traveling on a vast ocean. The ship will move forward even if we leave it alone. But we can also look to the destination together with the patients and row the ship desperately. Let's make it a better journey until the very end. We've been fortunate enough to be on the same boat." He touched Takino's shoulder and told him to "cherish it."

Takino's face was all crumpled with tears as he listened to Tokushige's words and replied with a strong "Yes!"
