Weekend Box Office Ranking

According to the box office rankings for June 19-21 (compiled by Kogyo Tsushinsha) released on June 22, Antoine Fuqua's "Michael," a film about the legend of "King of Pop" Michael Jackson, took first place for the second consecutive week. Over the three-day weekend, it attracted approximately 486,000 viewers and grossed approximately 799.5 million yen. Cumulatively, it has attracted 1.68 million viewers and grossed over 2.7 billion yen. Studio Ghibli's masterpiece "Kiki's Delivery Service" (directed by Hayao Miyazaki), which has just begun IMAX screenings, debuted at number 6 in its 4K digital remaster.
