The four-and-a-half-year serialization of Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister comes to an end

The romantic comedy manga "Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister " by Naito Marcy, which was also made into a TV anime and became a hot topic, reached its final chapter in the 39th issue of the serialized magazine "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), released on August 27th, bringing the curtain down on its approximately four and a half year run.

To commemorate the end of the series, illustrations by Negi Haruba , the author of the manga " The Quintessential Quintuplets" and "Go! Go! Loser Ranger! ," and Haruko Iizuka , the character designer for the TV anime " Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister ," have been released. Haruba commented, "Thank you for your hard work serializing the series. Just like when the Quintessential Quintuplets series ended, let's celebrate the end of Amagami-san by going to an escape room and enjoying yakiniku," while Iizuka commented, "Even though the story may be over, the three sisters will always be in my heart...!!! I love the three sisters and Uryu-kun...! Thank you so much for your hard work serializing it!"

"Amagami-san Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister, a high school student preparing for entrance exams, who ends up staying at a shrine in Kyoto and begins a new life there with three sisters. A one-shot story was published in Weekly Shonen Magazine in December 2020, and after receiving positive feedback in a reader survey, the series began serialization in the same magazine in February 2021. The TV anime aired from October 2024 to March 2025.
