Yoshitaka, who had the valuable experience of "playing the biwa on a boat sailing on Lake Biwa" in the drama, revealed that "it was a good memory in Shiga Prefecture." She continued, "Today, I went to Ishiyama-dera Temple to give thanks with (Emoto) Tasuku, and the worshippers called me by my character's name, 'Mahiro' and 'Michinaga', and I really felt that the viewers have been immersed in the story of ' To Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)'."
Yoshitaka added, "What was impressive was that Yu was always calm and put my mind at ease even during the long filming period." She continued, "I'm really glad that Yu played the role of Fujiwara no Michinaga, and I'm grateful that it was thanks to him that I was able to be "Mahiro." This day has come so quickly, but there is still an evening broadcast, so I hope you will enjoy the final episode over and over again."
Approximately 26,000 people applied to participate in the event that day. The winning ratio was about 28 to 1, and about 950 people attended the venue.
"Dear Radiance (Hikaru Kimi e)" is the 63rd taiga drama. Set in the aristocratic society of the mid-Heian period, the protagonist is Murasaki Shikibu (Mahiro), who later wrote "The Komyo ga Tsuji" in 2006, and depicts the glittering world of Heian aristocrats and the life of a woman who lived, wrote, and loved with all her heart.
