Sound! Euphonium Official Wind Orchestra Concert to be Held for the First Time in Shanghai

It has been announced that the official brass band concert for the anime " Sound! Euphonium, " based on the novel by Ayano Takeda , will be expanded to include Kyoto, Kanagawa, and Shanghai.

In Kyoto and Kanagawa, the " Sound! Euphonium" Official Wind Orchestra Concert: Kitauji High School Wind Orchestra's 9th Regular Concert - 10th Anniversary Performance" will be held. This event has been held regularly since the anime began airing, and the Progressive! Wind Orchestra, led by Masahiro Owada, will perform songs that appear in the anime.

The event will feature TRUE, who has sung the theme song for the anime series, as well as voice actors Tomoyo Kurosawa, Moe Toyoda, Chika Anzai, Haruki Ishitani, Tsuzumi Fujimura, Yuri Yamaoka, and Shinba Tsuchiya. The program will be decided based on the songs selected by fan vote. The event will be held at the ROHM Theatre Kyoto Main Hall (Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City) on January 4, 2026, and at the Sagami Women's University Green Hall Large Hall (Minami Ward, Sagamihara City) on January 17, 2026.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the film and the release of "Shinjuku : Sound! Euphonium Part 1" in spring 2026, the first official brass band concert will be held in Shanghai. Details of the Shanghai performance will be announced in the future.

"Sound! Euphonium" is set in the Kitauji High School brass band and depicts the growth of the band members, including euphonium player Kumiko Oumae. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2015, the second from October to December 2016, and the third from April to July 2024.
