It has been announced that a special audio commentary by the voice actors will be featured during the revival screening of "Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul," the theatrical film adaptation of Akihito Tsukushi's manga "Made in Abyss." Miyu Tomita (Riko), Mariya Ise(Reg), Shiori Izawa (Nanachi), and Inori Minase(Prushka) will be providing the commentary. The revival screening will run from August 7th to 20th.
"Made in Abyss" depicts the adventures of a young girl, Riko, and a young robot, Reg, in the Abyss, a mysterious chasm where precious relics lie dormant. The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2017, the second season, "The Golden Land of the Blazing Sun," aired from July to September 2022, and the theatrical film "Dawn of the Deep Soul" was released in January 2020. The original manga series has sold over 22 million copies in total.
The first film in the series, "Made in Abyss: Awakening of Mystery," will be released on October 23rd.
