The drama "Shiori-chan, Let Me Hear Your Heart's Voice" (TV Asahi, excluding some areas) starring former TV Tokyo announcer and talent Mori Kasumi will be broadcast from 11:15 pm to 12:15 am on December 13th.
This drama is based on a long-awaited project that Osamu Suzuki, who retired as a scriptwriter and television writer in March this year, had written while he was still active and had been saving for later. The "front story," which appears to be a heartwarming story, will be broadcast, followed by the "back story," which uses the same footage and includes the inner thoughts of the protagonist, the cunning Shiori (played by Mori). The back story will reveal Shiori's dark true feelings, which were not revealed in the front story, and will feature three short stories with completely opposite endings, despite being the same footage.
Taiki Sato of the dance and vocal group "FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE" appears in the first episode, "Breakup Talk." The episode depicts the second anniversary date between Shiori and Kiyotaka, played by Sato, and in the backstage episode, Shiori's true feelings are revealed.
The second episode, "My Boss Retires," stars Ota Shunsei from "OCTPATH" and actor Maruyama Tomoki. Shiori, who works at an advertising agency, and her cute junior colleague Minato (Ota), prepare a surprise message for her retiring boss, Rikiyama (Maruyama), but Rikiyama turns out to be a terrible boss who abuses his power. In the back story, Shiori's dark plan, which also takes advantage of Rikiyama's power harassment, is revealed.
In the third episode, "Stalker," Takeru Goto of "INI" plays Azuma, the heir of a wealthy family who Shiori is after. Shiori, who is being harassed by a stalker, gets a ride home from Azuma and decides to continue drinking at his house. However, just when things are starting to get good, an ominous intercom rings. This is the hardest and darkest episode of the three, and Shiori's true feelings explode.
The characters "Abe-kun" and "Kobe-chan" created by art director Ryo Fujii will act as the drama's navigators. The voices of Abe-kun and Kobe-chan will be provided by the comedy duo "Kaerutei."
