The 32 performers for "32 People, the Biggest in History, Paying a Huge Amount Out of Their Own Money! If You Get It Right, You Get 10 Million Yen! We'll Be Going to Have Fun on New Year's Eve Too! Special," which will air on Nippon Television from 6:30 pm on December 31st, have been announced.
Unlike the popular "Gochi Battle" corner of the variety show "Guru Guru Ninety-Nine" on the same station, this time it started with a competition between eight teams of four people each. The eight members of the two teams that came in last in the team competition then competed in a "self-funded deciding match," and whoever came last had to pay for the meals of all the contestants.
Participating teams will be a stellar lineup of members, including Gochi members, Gochi alumni, a super VIP celebrity team, showbiz opinion leaders, and the movie "Cells at Work at Work." The MC will be Yabe Hiroyuki from "Ninety-Nine," and the hosts will be Hatori Shinichi and announcer Ichiki Reina. From the Gochi members, Moriyama Shintaro and Yasuko from "Mitorizu" will serve as reporters. The show will be aired from 6:30pm to 11:45pm.
