The 9th episode of Fuji TV's Monday 9pm drama "Usotoki Rhetoric" (Mondays 9pm), starring actors Suzuka Oji and Matsumoto Honoka, was broadcast on December 2nd. Hamao Noritaka guest-starred as Tokuda Shiro, which became a hot topic on social media.
◇Spoilers below.
Mihara Hisashi (Yo Kimiko) asks Souma (Suzuka) to determine which of Tokuda Shiro, who claims to be the only son of her deceased daughter, Eri (Yoshida Mikako), and Honjo Satsuki (Nomura Kota) is the real child. Together with Kanoko (Matsumoto), Shiro meets and talks with Satsuki, and it turns out that Satsuki is the real son. Shiro admits that he is not Hisashi's grandson. When Souma points out, "You're not the real Tokuda Shiro. Who are you?", Shiro admits, "That's amazing, how did you know?" In the midst of all this, Shiro said, "I'm glad we found out Satsuki-kun is the real deal. He's a really good guy. Don't worry. I won't have anything to do with the Sanehara family anymore." It seemed that Kanoko had noticed the signal she gave to Sawa when she saw through a lie, and she was shown asking meaningfully, "Kanoko-kun, which of me were you talking about?"
On social media, the show was a hot topic, with comments such as, "Hamao-san's Shiro was mysterious and awesome," "Shiro's creepiness really stood out and it gave me goosebumps," "The live-action Shiro was also really suspicious and really good," and "It was interesting. Will he find out Kanoko's secret? Will the mysterious man show up again?"
