It has been announced that the TV anime "The Unconscious Saintess Continues to Unconsciously Let Her Power Flow Away Today," based on the light novel by Aamondo, will begin airing sequentially from June 30th. It will air on AT-X every Tuesday at 10 PM starting June 30th, on TOKYO MX from July 7th, and on BS11 from July Getsuku.
It was also announced that Atsushi Tamaru will play Gilbert, the first prince of the Marbas Empire, and Nobuhiko Okamoto will play Owen, the second son of the Baron Klein family of the Marbas Empire. The main key visual, featuring Carolina at the center, along with Edward, Theodore, Marissa, Gilbert, and Owen, was also released.
Tamaru commented, "In this work, Carolina influences the people around her one after another. Edward is one of them, and Gilbert is another. I think viewers will also become one of those who are influenced in that way."
Okamoto said, "The story's appeal lies in the power of the unconscious saint's buffs. The fact that she's unconscious, along with her cuteness and naivety, is what saves her from potentially dark situations. I hope you enjoy it."
"The Unconscious Saintess Continues to Unconsciously Leak Her Power Today" tells the story of Carolina, a duke's daughter who has been scorned and called a failure, whose life is turned upside down when she enters into a political marriage with Edward, the clumsy second prince of a neighboring country, and who seizes happiness. The light novel and manga adaptation are published by Earth Star Entertainment, and the series has sold over 1.8 million copies in total.
The anime will be directed by Mitsutaka Noshitani and produced by Magic Bus and Picante Circus. Rie Takahashi will voice Carolina, Makoto Furukawa will voice Edward, Carolina's husband, and Haruka Shiraishi will voice Flora, Carolina's older sister.
